## Plans and Credits Overview

Wegic is a subscription based service with several paid plans. When you pay for a subscription you get access to more features, and more credits. You need credits to create and edit website in Wegic.

## Free Credits and Trial

### Free Credits for New Users

When you sign up for Wegic, you will receive a small amount of free credits.

These free credits can be used to **chat with the AI before generating your website**, helping you explore ideas and prepare your content.

### First Website Generation: $2.99 Trial

To generate your first website, you can purchase a 2.99USD trial package.

This package includes one full website generation.

### Why is this paid?

Website generation has a high AI cost. Wegic uses more advanced models to ensure better layout, design quality, and overall results. The trial lets you experience this quality at the lowest possible cost.

## Paid Plans

After your website is generated, each edit or modification also consumes credits.

Once your free credits are used up, you should upgrade to get more credits.

At this point, you can choose between two paid plans: [**Starter or Premium**](https://wegic.ai/pricing).

We offer both Starter and Premium plans.

Each paid plan includes a **fixed number of monthly credits.**

You can choose monthly billing or annual billing.

**Annual billing offers extra savings with a discounted monthly price.**

## **Buying Extra Credits (Premium Only)**

If your credits are not enough, you can buy extra credits anytime.<br>

**Who Can Buy Extra Credits**

* Only Premium plan users
* You can buy anytime, especially when your monthly credits run low

**How to Buy Extra Credits**

1. Go to your workspace
2. Click **\[Upgrade]** in the top-right corner
3. You will be taken to the pricing page
4. At the top, click **\[Get more credits]**
5. Choose how many credits you want, submit and pay

**Payment and Credits Delivery**

* The payment will be **automatically charged** to the payment method you use for your Premium plan
* Extra credits will be added to your account immediately and can be used right away

## Credits Display

### Checking Your Remaining Credits

To see how many credits you have left:

* Go to wegic.ai/workspace
* Click the Wegic logo in the top-left corner while you are in the editor

On the black card, you can see your remaining credits for the current billing period at any time.

### View Credits Usage

Hover over the card to flip it. You will see the View Usage button.

Click it to check how your credits have been used.

## **Plan Upgrade and Billing**

Wegic supports upgrading your plan at any time, including:

* Upgrading from **Starter to Premium**
* Switching from **Monthly to Yearly billing**

All upgrades are charged on a **prorated basis**, meaning you only pay for the difference based on your remaining subscription value.

### **How Upgrade Pricing Works**

When you upgrade your plan, the system automatically calculates the price based on your current subscription usage.

#### **Important Notes**

* Once an upgrade is completed, it **cannot be undone or downgraded**. Partial refunds may be available in certain cases. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy](https://privacy.wegic.ai) for more details.
* The **price shown on the upgrade confirmation page is the final amount charged**.
* All payments are processed in **USD**. Your bank statement may show your local currency. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, there may be small differences in the final charged amount.
* If the difference seems unusually large, please email to <payment@wegic.ai> for verification.

Click the Upgrade button in the top-right corner of your workspace, or visit [this page](https://wegic.ai/pricing).

Choose the plan you want to upgrade to, then click **Upgrade**.

Next, click **Continue to checkout**, and on the confirmation page, select **Submit** to complete the upgrade.

<summary><strong>How can I cancel my subscription?</strong></summary>

1. log in to wegic.ai, go to the [workspace](https://wegic.ai/workspace).
2. Click on the Wegic logo to open the profile.
3. Hover over the subscription plan card.
4. Click \[Cancel Subscription].

This will cancel the renewal, and you won’t be charged in the next billing cycle

<summary><strong>What happens to my account and files if I cancel my subscription?</strong></summary>

Your account and website files will not be deleted.After your current subscription ends, your account will downgrade to the Free Plan.

The Free Plan does not include custom domain or the ability to keep your website published.Any website you published will be unpublished and become invisible to visitors.

If you are on Starter or Premium Plan and don’t want to continue using Wegic:

* You can export your website code **during your subscription period** (this will use some credits).
* Then click \[Unsubscribe] to cancel future renewals.

<summary><strong>How can I download my invoice or receipt?</strong></summary>

You can download your invoice or receipt directly from your workspace. Follow these steps:

1. Go to your [Workspace](https://wegic.ai/workspace)
2. Click the Wegic logo in the top-left corner to open the dropdown menu
3. Hover over the black card and let it flip
4. Click **\[Manage billing]** to enter the billing and order management page
5. View all your past orders and download the corresponding invoice or receipt

Credits are consumed based on the amount of AI work required to complete your request, not simply by the number of messages you send.

Each instruction is analyzed and processed by the AI. The more content or structure involved, the more credits are used.

Credits depend on several factors, including:

* **Scope of change**

  Editing a single sentence uses fewer credits than changing an entire section or page.
* **Type of change**

  Text edits usually cost less than layout, structure, or design changes.
* **AI regeneration**

  Requests that require regenerating content, layouts, or images consume more credits.

Credits are charged per instruction, based on the AI work required to produce the result.

Sending several separate instructions will consume credits multiple times, even if each change is small.

When you combine multiple related changes into one instruction, the AI processes them together.
